Unsung Heroines: Grand Opening May 6, @ 5:30 pm. The spring exhibit will open with a keynote speech by Kathryn Childers. Childers will relate her experiences as a novice in the first class of secret service agents that admitted women. Her service took her around the world for investigations and anything-but-routine assignments. Kathryn is the author of “Scared Fearless” and will sign books after her talk. The exhibit will feature posters about women pioneers, Harriet Fulton, twentieth century mavens, women who served, leaders for the community, arts on the coast, fashion, women’s networks, and elected officials.
